Basketball player Amare Stoudemire really burst into the NYC celebrity scene as soon as he was traded to the New York Knicks. He was spotted at a couple fashion week shows and has been chummy with none other than Anna Wintour.
He announced that he’ll team with up Rachel Roy. He’s going to join her Rachel Rachel Roy label (for Macy’s). Expect to see his threads in stores this fall.
Let's hope this effort is more successful than other designer-athlete collaborations of the past. I can't think of any that have really worked.. Can you?
